Help Using Establishment Search
There is a blank box at the top of each column. By inserting
search terms in those boxes, you can narrow the results to those that exactly
match your search criteria.
Here are some options you can use to assist in your search:
- Case Insensitive. Typing “Miami” is the same as
typing “miami”.
- “Not” Character. Typing an exclamation point (!)
and a word will exclude that word from your search. In other words, “!meat”
will find all establishments that do not serve
or sell meat.
- Similar Returns. Entering “Miami” in the city box
will return results including “Miami,” “Miami Beach,” and “North Miami
Beach.” Entering “!North” and “!Beach” in the city box will exclude “North
Miami Beach” and “Miami Beach” and find results with only “Miami”
addresses.
- Multiple Criteria. You can enter a variety of
search terms at the top of as many columns as you wish. To find bakeries
that are pas Yisroel but not in Hollywood, type “bakery” in the “Facility”
column, “!Hollywood” in the “City” column, and “pas Yisroel” in the “Type of
Facility” column.
